Bakeru takes place in "Fairy Tale Japan," a mix of modern Japan and old period dramas, which is divided into various stages. The adventure begins in the Tanuki village in Tokushima, and continues through all 47 prefectures.
Festival Towers are installed at the end of each stage. The tower is barricaded with Evil Energy, and the stage cannot be completed like this!
Evil Lanterns are the source of the Evil Energy. These can be found anywhere in a stage. They could be hidden in the ground, or enemies could be protecting them.
As the Evil Lanterns get destroyed, the barrier on the Festival Tower gets weaker. Destroy 3 Lanterns to remove the barrier completely.
When you reach the Festival Tower, beat it like a drum to finish the stage!
Release all prefectures from Oracle Saitaro's evil spirits! Stronger enemies await in the next stage!
A new enemy called Lantern Boss has been added to the Western, Asian, and Steam versions of the game! It is a powerful foe that drops an Evil Lantern when defeated!
There are many other locations to be seen in racing and shooting stages. Have fun on these special stages!
Mighty Strength Hero.
He has the greatest strength of all fairy tale heroes. He attacks with his giant fists and axes. Be careful not to get hit by his special moves.
South Sea Angler.
He uses two fishing rods to launch continuous attacks. Mind his strikes and the giant lure that follows you around.
Japan's Greatest Hero.
He attacks with his Kibi Dango guns and super-fast movements, and excels at long-range combat. Don't let the speed overwhelm you!
Win the battle with the heroes and receive the Henge license, which allows you to transform into those heroes. Now you can use their action skills!
It usually serves as a means of transportation for Bakeru to travel around the world. It also functions as a base, displaying souvenirs collected from all over Japan.
When Ultimate Mode is activated,
it transforms into an ultimate weapon, unleashing its true power.
