Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus Synopsis of the Five Substories and Gallery Mode with 164 Cinematics and BGM Tracks
Spike Chunsoft, Inc. today announced new details about Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus, including a synopsis of the five substories, and its Gallery Mode that includes 164 types of content. The lucid-noir detective adventure from the creators of the Danganronpa series Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Plus comes to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam® in North America and Europe on October 1, 2024.
Synopsis of the Five Substories and the Detectives
Includes all previously released DLC from the Nintendo Switch version. Play through all five substories featuring different Master Detectives. These substories spotlight detectives other than the main character, Yuma, offering you separate narratives from the main story. In these substories, you can take control of the detectives who serve as the protagonists of these tales.

Desuhiko Thunderbolt

A young man with a goofball nature who likes hitting on women under the guise of investigation. Desuhiko's goal is to become famous as a mystery-solving superstar detective. He carries a huge backpack filled with tools necessary for his disguises.
Forensic Forte: Disguise
In addition to disguising his clothes and face, his voice, height, and weight can also be changed, allowing him to match the target of disguise visually and psychologically.
Fubuki Clockford
Japanese VA: Saori Onishi
English VA: Xanthe Huynh
Because of her upbringing as a lady of the world-famous Clockford Family, she is a bit naive. She has a uniquely peculiar way of thinking, which can frustrate and confuse the people she talks to.
Forensic Forte: Time Leap
Time can be rewound and things can be redone. After time has been turned back once, it cannot be turned back beyond that point, however.
Halara Nightmare

He has a decadent and aesthetic atmosphere about him. Often lying down in various places, such as the fireplace at the agency or under the hotel's grand piano, his personality can be described as self-indulgent.

Freed from the flesh, the ghost form can pass through walls and floors without being seen by other people.

Head of the only agency in Kanai Ward, the Nocturnal Detective Agency. An aloof and elusive man. Although not a Master Detective, he is certified by the World Detective Organization, which suggests he is an excellent detective.
That said, he is somewhat weak-kneed, and his agency's policy is to stay quiet and refrain from any overt behavior that might lead to conflict with the Amaterasu Corporation Peacekeepers.
Gallery Mode Includes 95 Cinematics and 69 BGM Tracks
The new Gallery Mode allows you to revisit cinematics and BGM that you've unlocked in-game. A total of 95 cinematics and 69 BGM tracks are included. The movies and BGM are released sequentially after each chapter is cleared.You can watch your favorite scenes as many times as you'd like.
How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case
How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case is an original, newly-written novel about Halara Nightmare, a Master Detective with the Forensic Forte "Postcognition," and serves as a prequel to the main story of the game. The novel is written by Takekuni Kitayama under the supervision of Kazutaka Kodaka, main scenario writer for the game. It contains no spoilers and can be read before playing the game.
While investigating a case, Halara is trapped by snow inside a mountain cabin alongside violent prisoners. Then an incomprehensible murder occurs...with no witnesses. In an extreme situation where doubt looms, the eye of a genius private detective will reveal the truth.
First-run physical copies for PS5 include a printed copy of the original novel, How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case. PS5 digital pre-orders for the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions come with a digital download version of the novel.
